Hitzone, Nederlands grootste en langst draaiende hitcompilatie serie, heeft nummer 100 bereikt! De eerste editie van Hitzone stamt uit 1998 en nu zijn we dan dus bij deel 100 aanbeland. Voorheen werd Hitzone alleen op CD uitgebracht maar om deze speciale 100ste editie te vieren, komt Hitzone 100 op goudkleurig 180 grams vinyl uit!

In het begeleidende promomateriaal staat dat dit nieuwe Tull-album het eerste nieuwe werk is van Jethro Tull na ‘The Jethro Tull Christmas Album’ uit 2003. Officieel klopt dit maar onder de naam Ian Anderson verschenen er in die 18 jaar nog wel nieuwe platen (‘Homo Erraticus’ bijvoorbeeld) en zeg nou zelf: wat voor verschil maakt het of er nu Jethro Tull of Ian Anderson op de verpakking staat ?

De verse line-up van Jethro Tull bestaat naast Anderson (fluit, zang, bouzouki, mandoline, mondharmonica) uit Joe Parrish (gitaar), Scott Hammond (drums), John O’Hara (toetsen, accordeon,orkest) en David Goodier (bassist), geen mannen van de ‘ouwe hap’ meer in de band.
