Voormalig Kayak-zanger Edward Reekers overleden Voormalig zanger van de band Kayak Edward Reekers is op 68-jarige leeftijd overleden. Hij is na een kort ziekbed in het bijzijn van zijn naasten gestorven. Begin augustus werd er uitgezaaide longkanker bij hem vastgesteld, die niet goed te behandelen bleek. In een verklaring van de familie staat dat "alles in de weken die volgden heel snel ging." Hij werd bij het grote publiek bekend als leadzanger van de symfonische rockband Kayak, die in de jaren 70 meerdere top 40-hits scoorde......►►►
