 Guitar legend Joe Bonamassa, in conjunction with partners Keeping The Blues Alive Foundation and Sixthman have postponed Keeping The Blues Alive at Sea Mediterranean II into next year. The second voyage is now scheduled to sail aboard Norwegian Pearl out of Athens, Greece taking blues fans to Mykonos, Greece and Kusadasi, Turkey on August 17-22, 2021.

Ditmaal geen eigen werk, als gevolg van de  Corona situatie en dus de onmogelijkheid te repeteren, arrangeren en fysiek samen te komen.

5-jarig jubileum Dé Blueskrant en de Mei editie

Het komende jaar zou er op diverse momenten aandacht worden besteed aan dit eerste lustrum maar door de huidige situatie in de wereld werden we genoodzaakt om een crowdfunding te starten voor het voortbestaan van het medium. Aangezien de krant volledig afhankelijk is van de culturele sector, ligt alles stil en is het voortbestaan van Dé Blueskrant waar het duo zo hard voor gewerkt heeft de afgelopen vijf jaar in het geding. Daarover hebben we u in een eerdere mail geïnformeerd.
Helaas is het financiëel niet mogelijk om de mei-editie van Dé Blueskrant uit te brengen. Advertenties blijven uit, distributiepunten zijn gesloten etc. De donaties én reacties n.a.v. de crowdfunding die we gestart zijn, zijn hartverwarmend en we zijn iedereen daar heel erg dankbaar voor. Deze crowdfunding zetten we voorlopig door via een doneerbutton op de website www.deblueskrant.nl. Alle inkomsten hiervan worden voor de volle 100% gebruikt om in augustus editie 21 van Dé Blueskrant te publiceren en te distribueren. Voor u als abonnee betekent dat dat uw abonnement als het ware één editie verschuift waardoor uw abonnementsgeld uiteraard geldig blijft voor vier edities.
