Joker’s Hand examines rage across various cultural contexts. “Hibakusha” addresses the use and fallout of the atomic bombs in WW2. “Comfortable” takes aim at the one we hate the most—the lover of the one you used to love. The title track “All American Rage” is a poignant attack on the ever-growing gap between rich and poor."

Na drie edities die niet door konden gaan is het in 2022 hoog tijd voor de zesentwintigste editie van Dauwpop in Hellendoorn. Dauwpop is volgend jaar op Hemelvaartsdag dat in 2022 valt op donderdag 26 mei. Er zijn nog een handvol kaarten verkrijgbaar.
De uitgestelde editie was eigenlijk al uitverkocht maar door de verplaatsingen zijn er enkele kaarten terug gekomen. "Het gaat echt om enkele kaarten, we hebben gelukkig een trouw publiek dat ook gewoon weer zin heeft in Dauwpop, veel kaarten kwamen er niet terug. Maar dit biedt de mensen die achter het net hebben gevist alsnog een kans om erbij te zijn op 26 mei 2022”. Zegt Rob Telgenkamp, directeur van het festival.

We zijn ons ervan bewust dat veel mensen speculeren over de praktische aspecten van het hosten van Roadburn 2021 zoals we oorspronkelijk hadden gepland - met alles gewoon overgedragen van 2020 . Ondanks bemoedigend nieuws over vaccins kunnen we gewoon niet aannemen dat dit over vier maanden mogelijk zal zijn.
We plannen momenteel een sterk verkleinde, COVID-proof versie van Roadburn voor april 2021 , die toegankelijk zal zijn of je nu in Tilburg bent of ergens anders op de wereld . We zullen daarover in het nieuwe jaar meer informatie hebben ...
