Do For You - Reed Turchi “Do For You” is the third single on the 15-year anniversary re-release for Reed Turchi’s Road Ends in Water—his early showcase of basement recordings with special guest Luther Dickinson of North Mississippi Allstars.
“Do For You” is a good-time song about going down to the river, sneaking out, and the endless allure of a love interest who knows just how to dare you to go a little bit further.
As Turchi tells is, “I remember playing this song live once in a dive bar in West Virginia, and a young woman came up and sat on my lap and whispered the chorus line into my ear when I sang into it…’think of the things I’d do'…’ Sound too be to be true, right? Well, it kind of is—it really happened, but also I realized that she was doing it to make her boyfriend jealous. Thankfully I escaped unharmed, more or less.”
Reed Turchi’s upcoming album, Road Ends in Water, will be released on vinyl and CD via Gitcha Records on October 9, 2026.
