Blind Pig Records is thrilled to announce the signing of Meaza Joy (pronounced MAH-zah), a young and immensely gifted blues and soul singer from Missouri. With a voice of startling power, range, and emotional depth, she steps forward as one of the most exciting new artists to emerge in the genre today.

Meaza Joy has already turned heads everywhere she has performed, commanding attention from the first note. Her pure, soulful delivery speaks with an authority and feeling well beyond her years—and her songwriting matches it. She has shared stages with well-known blues musicians from the Mississippi Delta to Chicago, from Florida to California, and has been a proud participant in the Pinetop Perkins Masterclass Workshop, an experience that has deepened her bond with the music and its storied history. This past June, she brought that passion to one of the genre’s most celebrated stages, performing at the Chicago Blues Festival.

Meaza Joy is represented by a management team led by Arny Granat, the renowned concert promoter and entertainment industry luminary. Under the terms of a multi-album deal, recording on her debut Blind Pig album is set to begin later this summer, with its release planned for early 2027.
