Derek Dames Ohl and Kind Hearted Strangers join forces for a new spin on Art Lown’s 1976 cult classic “Deep Blue Sea.” To honor and highlight the work of this legendary songwriter who released just one mysterious album, the group gave the song a modern edge, weaving in layers of psychedelic electric and 12-string guitars over a foundation of powerful grooving drums. Paired with Ohl’s heartfelt and nostalgic vocals, the delivery is the perfect indie surf rock soundtrack for warm days under the sun or cruising with the windows down
