Met het verschijnen van hun tweede single “Knocking At Your Door” kondigt de Nieuw-Zeelandse band SIX60 ook gelijk hun komende Europese tournee aan. Nederland wordt niet overgeslagen en het kwartet is op 18 juli te bewonderen in de Melkweg te Amsterdam.

Van de in eigen land immens populaire formatie SIX60 is recent hun nieuwe vijfde album “Right Here Right Now” verschenen; ‘it marks a return to the iconic roots-driven live sound that defined the band’s debut album, now a 13x platinum Kiwi / New Zealand / Aotearoa classic’.

Elke track werd vastgelegd ‘in a single take, capturing an old school, organic and authentic in-the-room vibration, embracing imperfections in a stripped-back production and breathing a live, pure, natural and heart felt energy’. De 12 nieuwe tracks zijn een bonte verzameling geworden ‘blending pop, soul and reggae, leaving space for groove, feeling, movement, warmth and vocal clarity’.
