47th Annual Blues Music Award Nominees

As Women's History 47th Annual  Blues Music Award Nominees Month 2026 unfolds, we pause to recognize the feminine side of the blues with our own women's music history in the making.

Candice Ivory Following her enormously successful release, New Southern Vintage, Candice has received two nominations this year: Soul Blues Female (her second career nomination in that category) and Instrumentalist - Vocals.

Maria Muldaur GRAMMY-nominated One Hour Mama: The Blues of Victoria Spivey is nominated for Traditional Blues Album. Maria is also nominated for Traditional Blues Female - The Koko Taylor Award. These two nominations bring her lifetime total to 14. Let's make 2026 the year Maria WINS!
