This deluxe 4CD set and book includes studio recordings made by the Fabulous Thunderbirds when the band included Jimmie Vaughan and Kim Wilson - It begins with thirteen unreleased cuts from sessions they did in 1978 for a potential album (produced by Doc Pomus) that never saw daylight but are available here commercially for the first time - The five hour music compilation then follows their career through all the subsequent releases they made on TakomaChrysalis and Epic until Jimmie left the band to pursue his solo career in 1989, - a total of eight albums: The Doc Pomus Sessions 1978The Fabulous Thunderbirds (Girls Go Wild); What's The Word?Butt Rockin'T-Bird RhythmTuff EnuffHot NumberPowerful Stuff.
