Buiten multimuzikant is hij ook een begenadigd songsmid en zanger. Door zijn technische vaardigheid als gitarist en grote kennis van tal van muziekstijlen, schrijft hij songs die zeker niet alledaags zijn en die doorsnee patroontjes en structuren overschrijden.

De single Mental Moves (7/11/2025) is een mooie voorproever van zijn tweede album onder eigen naam, Supernatural Zombie, dat op 28 november is verschenen. Het album is eclectisch, het combineert verschillende structuren en stijlen tot een verrassend en meeslepend geheel. Ook leuk om weten: behalve drums bespeelt Luk alle instrumenten op dit album, dat werd opgenomen met zijn vertrouwde compaan Dirk Lekenne in Studio Fandango.
