Originally released in 1997, Steve Hackett & The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” is being issued on vinyl for the very first time, newly remastered especially for the format. A musical homage to, and inspired by the William Shakespeare play, this album saw Steve on classical guitar accompanied by conductor Matt Dunkley and the full orchestra. Longtime collaborators Roger King & brother John Hackett also feature on, what is often considered, a highlight of Steve’s classical work. The album will also be made available as a Special Edition CD Digipak.
