For Fans of,KISS, Starz, Angel,and 70’ClassicRock! Employing a dazzling mix of glamrock, hard rock, andprogressive rock,Angel' soutrageous, white-satin-heavyimage and equally over-the-top stage shows, makingthem one of the more colorful arena rock bands of themid-'70s and early '80s. Discovered by KISS bassplayer, Gene Simmons, the group issued theireponymous debut album in 1975, which hewed closer toprog rock than the glam pop that would inform futureendeavors likeOn Earth as It Is in Heaven(1977) andSinful(1979).

The group released a total of 5 studioalbums and 1 live album before going their separateways in 1981.Formed in Washington, D.C., the group's self-titled 1975debut was recorded for the flamboyant Casablanca Records label home to KISS--with a line-upcomprising Frank DiMino(vocals),Punky Meadows(guitar),Gregg Giuffria(keyboards),Mickie Jones(bass), andBarry Brandt(drums).

A heavy slab ofheavy pomp rock with lengthy songs swathed inGiuffria's atmospheric keyboards and featuring thelongtime stage favorite "Tower".
