Paul Benjaman is often refered to as the illegitimate son of JJ Cale. And it could be said that musically Benjaman is bearer of that Oklahom swing-torch. Yet, his talent and energy (and charactaristic voice) help him to maintain his own recognizable style and confirm him as one of the foremost representatives of rootsy blues in Oklahoma. His upcoming tour of Netherlands and France justifies the European releases of My Bad Side Wants a Good Time. One of the finest recent examples of that famed Tulsa Sound.
