Little Rock Musicians Receive Nominations for Arkansas Country Music Association Awards

Country singer-songwriter Pamela Hopkins and married performing duo Cliff & Susan have received multiple nominations in the prestigious event.

The Arkansas music scene is buzzing with excitement as two talented Little Rock artists have been nominated for the prestigious Arkansas Country Music Association Awards. Pamela Hopkins and Cliff & Susan are among the top nominees for this year’s awards, which honor legends, independent artists, and professionals in the country music industry.

Pamela Hopkins has been nominated for Song of the Year for her impactful ballad “Walk of Honor,” which she co-wrote with Anna Brinker and Lonnie Abbott. The emotional song tells a heart-wrenching story about organ donation, and it is a testament to Hopkins’ incredible songwriting talent.

Cliff & Susan, a dynamic duo hailing from Little Rock, are up for four awards at the Arkansas CMAs. They have been nominated for Vocal Duo/Group, Album of the Year for their album “Fiddle & Keys,” Music Producer of the Year for Cliff Prowse, and Collaborative Song of the Year for “Good Clean Livin’,” a collaboration with Jon Bailey, Trey Pendley, and Grace Stormont.

The Arkansas Country Music Awards, Inc. is a non-profit organization that recognizes and celebrates the best of the Arkansas music scene. Each year, the highly anticipated red carpet event honors legends, producers, independent artists, and other professionals who have made a significant impact on the country music industry.

“We are honored and humbled to be nominated for four Arkansas CMAs,” says Susan Erwin Prowse of Cliff & Susan. “We are grateful to be recognized among so many talented artists from our great state.”

The Arkansas Country Music Association Awards ceremony will take place on Monday June 3rd, 2024 at Reynolds Performance Hall. The event will feature a star-studded lineup of performances and special appearances by some of the biggest names in country music. Past guests have included Tanya Tucker, Lee Ann Womack, Collin Raye, Pam Tillis and more.
