STEPHEN STANLEY BAND - BEFORE THE COLLAPS OF THE HYVE December 8 release: Roots Rock: To say that Stephen Stanley has been a major force in Canadian roots music of the past few centuries would be quite the understatement. Constant touring with the likes of Billy Bragg, The Violent Femmes, The Jayhawks or Lloyd  Cole or his own band The Lowest Of The Low (with which he scored a gold album)

has lead to working with his own band. Their 2018 album Jimmy And The Moon was received with great enthusiasm, also by European media, but did not get him past the "best kept secret"status this side of the pond. But we would not be surprised if this new album will give that final push to get the Stephen Stanley Band into the champions league of Americana and Roots rockers.
