Hollywood Vampires - Live In Rio Release date: Friday, June 2nd 2023 V2 Records Supergroup Hollywood Vampires have announced their brand-new live album ‘Live In Rio’ will be releasing June 2nd on EarMusic. In 2015, American supergroup Hollywood Vampires played probably their biggest and one of their most legendary concerts in front of over 100,000 fans.

Rock in Rio is not only one of the most famous festivals, but also the origin of the Hollywood Vampires' first live album. Hollywood Vampires’ ‘Live In Rio’ album will be releasing June 2^nd.

Hollywood Vampires, the self-described “best bar band in the world”, consists of core members and rock legends Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Aerosmith’s Joe Perry, together with guitarist Tommy Henriksen. Their tradition is to play a riotous tribute to the great lost heroes of music and their own original material, released on their recent studio album ‘Rise’.

The three legends first came together to record in 2015, bonding over a shared love of their favorite songs and a desire to celebrate their ‘dead, drunk friends’ by playing the music of the fallen heroes. Named after Alice’s 1970’s drinking club that included the likes of John Lennon, Keith Moon and Mickey Dolenz, legendary performances ensued around the world. The 16-track album ‘Rise’, released in 2019, is one of the purest, most unapologetic and enjoyable rock and roll albums of recent times, made by masters of the craft and true fans of the form. Unlike their 2015 debut record, the second album consists mainly of original material, written by the band. There are, however, in spirit of the Vampires’ original mission, three covers of songs originally written and recorded by legendary rockers who died far too young.

With Alice Cooper as frontman, Hollywood superstar Johnny Depp, Aerosmith legend Joe Perry and producer and songwriter Tommy Henriksen, this band already has a top-class line-up. Still, the list of superstars doesn't end there. Joining them on stage are Duff McKagan (Guns N' Roses), Matt Sorum (Velvet Revolver) and Bruce Witkin (Grammy nominated producer). Special guests include Lzzy Hale (Halestorm), Andreas Kisser (Sepultura) and Zak Starkey (The Who / Oasis). A star line-up that has never been seen before on a single show.

The powerful album, which will be releasing on June 2^nd, was produced by Bob Ezrin (Deep Purple, KISS, Pink Floyd, etc.).
