  One of the most critically acclaimed and cherished rock records in Sweden was the debut album from Freedom, the Stockholm band that managed to sound full-fledged and complete at once with their sunny working-class rock.
  Among the band's biggest fans are The Hellacopters, who handpicked Freedom to play at their release party in April 2022.
  The reference points are many (Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers are just two of the many names that usually come up), but no one else sounds like Freedom.

  Freedom is blue-collar rock for the 21st century with driving beats, walls
  of power-chords and soulful melodies. Among their influences are
  Springsteen, Tom Petty and The Ramones and the sound has been
  described as melancholic yet uplifting.
  Freedom's debut album was crowned album of the year by listeners all
  over the world and among their fans are The Hellacopters, who invited
  Freedom to perform the new 'Copters album "Eyes Of Oblivion" at the
  official release party.
