Tweede track "Waging Peace" van Outlaw Country artist Alex Williams van gelijknamig album "Wading Peace" op Lightning Rod / V 2 BeNeLux verwacht 21 oktober 2022

Mochten we een paar weken jullie verblijden met de track “No Reservations” en tevens eerste track van net aankomende album “Waging Peace”. Vandaag mogen we het titel nummer van het gelijknamige album jullie doen toekomen. Check hieronder se streams!  Dit zegt Alex zelf over zijn nummer “Waging Peace”

”Waging Peace”
I chose this song as the title track because it seemed like the centerpiece for this whole project as far as the subject matter goes. I wrote this at home in 2020 during the initial part of the pandemic, and It’s a song about finding peace and optimism within yourself in this world, amongst the troubled times we live in, as well as the guilt one may hang on that seems to never let go of the mental game. Discovering that we are always our own worst enemy, and that making changes to better ourselves is the best thing we can do in order to see and truly cherish the important things that shine the brightest in our lives.
De volgende track komt 6 oktober dat wordt “Old Before My Time”

De video die Alex Williams heeft gemaakt voor No Reservations maakt veel duidelijk. Opgenomen in Waylon's Bar in Marion, Indiana zien we Williams met zijn band en een publiek bestaande uit bikers. No Reservations is, na een stilte van vijf jaar, het openingsnummer van Waging Peace, zijn tweede plaat. En dat is een formidabele mix van Chris Stapleton-country, Lynyrd Skynyrd-achtige Southern rock, liedjes van Townes Van Zandt-niveau en een stem die zowel aan Johnny Cash als Waylon Jennings doet denken. Waging Peace is outlaw country van het allerbeste soort. Echt fantastisch!
