We've got a new single coming out on Friday 24th June. This is the latest release from Misty Blues, and it features Kat Riggins on vocals, and Justin Johnson on guitar. 

I don't expect a review, as it's only a single. But it would be great if you could help the band by featuring it on your website, and sharing it on your socials. 

The single is called The Hate, and it was written in response to a comment left on a Misty Blues' YouTube Channel during the release of Fright Car, from their previous album.

‘The Hate’ is a powerful song with a poignant message, written in response to the
comment left on Misty Blues' ‘Freight Car’ YouTube music video during its release last December. Lead singer, Gina Coleman, is unfortunately no stranger to hate speech. This incident was especially egregious for her because she'd never experienced such hatred directed at her music. We find it important to shed light on this incident to demonstrate how divisive some people continue to be. This song also serves as a vehicle for nonmarginalised groups to be aware of the pervasiveness of these types of encounters.
