Het Nederlandse rock-‘n-roll platen label Suburban Records heeft de internationaal gevierde rock geweldenaars The Sore Losers (BE) getekend voor hun nieuwe studio-album dat dit najaar zal verschijnen. Het eerste wapenfeit is de nieuwe (1e) single ‘Yeah Yeah Yeah’ die vrijdag 30 april uitkomt. Diezelfde dag vindt tevens het exclusieve evenement ‘Live Preview New Album with Q&A’ plaats, waarbij de Belgische rock titans alvast vijf nieuwe album tracks in een spectaculaire concert setting spelen, gevolgd door een interview waarbij ook online bezoekers vragen aan de bandleden kunnen stellen. Deze preview wordt eenmalig gestreamd en daarna weer verwijderd.
Ronald Drayer, CEO van Suburban Records: “The Sore Losers en Suburban Records passen bij elkaar als rock bij roll. Ik volg de band zo'n tien jaar nu en ken gitarist Cedric Maes natuurlijk nog van de fantastische band El Guapo Stuntteam. Vreemd genoeg hebben we nooit eerder over een nieuwe samenwerking gesproken. Toen ik echter de nieuwe demo tracks van The Sore Losers hoorde dacht ik (om maar eens met Led Zeppelins Robert Plant te spreken): ‘now’s the time, the time is now’. Sindsdien knallen de albumtracks hier op kantoor dagelijks bijna non-stop door de speakers. We staan dan ook te popelen om aan de slag te gaan.”

‘LIVE PREVIEW NEW ALBUM WITH Q&A’ EN 1E SINGLE ‘YEAH YEAH YEAH’ OP VRIJDAG 30 APRIL
Op vrijdag 30 april van 20.30-21.15 uur vindt het exclusieve evenement ‘Live Preview New Album with Q&A’ plaats. The Sore Losers spelen dan bij wijze van try out vijf songs van het nieuwe album in een live-setting. Daarna wordt de band geïnterviewd, waarbij ook online bezoekers vragen kunnen stellen. Het evenement is live te volgen op de social media kanalen Youtube en Facebook van The Sore Losers.
Diezelfde dag verschijnt tevens de nieuwe explosieve single ‘Yeah Yeah Yeah’ als eerste voorproefje van het aankomende album, waarop de band ouderwets gretig en rock hungry klinkt.

Explosive Belgian rockers The Sore Losers have just finished recording their fifth full length album since the band started out back in 2009. The first single “Yeah Yeah Yeah” will be released by Suburban Records on April 30th 2021, the full album will follow later that year.
Following release of the new record, the band will be touring extensively throughout the Benelux, France and Germany. The Sore Losers presented their previous album, Gracias Señor, live for the first time at the Pukkelpop 2018 festival in a packed Marquee (cap 10.000). They have sold out their homebase venue Ancienne Belgique (cap. 2.000) and played +50,000 capacity festivals like Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop and Pinkpop. The band have done several Benelux headline tours and in the fall of 2017 they went on their first headline tour in France, where they had been playing supportshows since October 2016. Speaking of supports, the band has been on tour with Boss Hog, Kaiser Chiefs, Wolfmother and White Denim. Also in 2017, they made their US debut in NYC and at SXSW and went for the second time to play in Japan.

Their single Nightcrawler has been featured in the US by Conan O’Brian and Guitar World. The video was shot at the legendary Album De La Semaine TV show on Canal+ in France. Got It Bad, another single from their previous album Skydogs, is well on its way to reach 2,5 million streams.
