The world famous Sun Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, has been the studio of choice for many stars of the blues scene from the 1950s to this day: It‘s with this EP that the Bluesanovas are joining the Greats. Only five short years after their musical debut, the band has already reached multiple milestones, such as winning the 2019 German Blues Challenge and reaching the semifinals of the 2020 International Blues Challenge in Memphis. These four original songs, recorded by these outstanding musicians will give you a taste of the new generation of Blues.

GERMAN BLUES CHALLENGE WINNER 2019

That's the band that proved to provide the new kind of explosive Blues and Boogie music over the past few years! Formed in 2015, they already took part in the Blues Festival Hildesheim in 2016 and the Blue Wave Festival Rügen in 2017, taking a role as the new rising star in the blues scene. Since at least the 90th issue of the Blues News, the Bluesanovas are known as the best hope in the new generation of German blues bands. Now, their second album "Emergency Call for the Blues", published by Timezone, is available.
