APRIL 10 SHAWN PITTMAN - MAKE IT RIGHT  available on CD and digitally Shawn Pittman was born in Talihina, Oklahoma, United States. At eight years old his mother sent him for piano lessons, but he never liked learning to play. His elder brother's drum kit held more fascination for Pittman, before he progressed in his early teens to playing the guitar. A schoolfriend introduced him to records made by Lightnin' Hopkins and Muddy Waters.

Shawn's love of listening to the radio gave him access to work by Jimmy Reed, Elmore James, John Lee Hooker, Jimmie Vaughan, Johnny "Guitar" Watson, Buddy Guy, Albert King, and Hound Dog Taylor. He decided his immediate future lay in Texas and, by the age of 17, had relocated to Dallas......

well,we assume most of you will be aware of that "the rest is history" thing, so we will stick to the here and now. After the 2018 release of his album "Everybody Wants To Know" Shawn Pittman toured extensively across Europe with renowned German/Turkish blues tandem Erkan Ozdemir on bass and his son Levent on drums. This worked out so well that the trio took out a couple of days of recording in Denmark. It took two days of recording and a day of mixing at the Heyman Studio in Copenhagen to come up with 12 vibrant tracks that make up Shawn's 13th album
