FABRIZIO-CAMMARATA-LIGHTSFABRIZIO CAMMARATA - LIGHTS
(800A Records)
Release date: Friday, March 29th 2019

Lights showcases Fabrizio Cammarata's stunning, rich voice, and his talent for mature yet accessible, narrative acoustic music. Fans of Ben Howard, Benjamin Clementine and Bear’s Den will appreciate Fabrizio’s songcraft and vibrant delivery. With the synths and keyboard parts taking ever more prominence in the sound, Lights is Fabrizio’s most sonically expansive work to date.
This sonic experimentation contrasts with Fabrizio’s ongoing All Is Brighter was inspired by traditional Spanish Flamenco music, whilst Cassiopea, a reference to the Greek Goddess, features a chorus sung in his native Italian.
passion for traditional folk music and ancient mythologies,

The special performances with Cantus Domus were recorded, and tracks from the concerts were featured on a deluxe version of Of Shadows. For the recording of Lights Fabrizio worked again with long-time collaborator, the acclaimed producer Dani Castelar (Paolo Nutini, Editors, REM) between Studio Indigo in Palermo, Sicily and Barxeta in Valencia, spain. Lights features performances by Fabrizio with his band Donato di Trapani (synths), Carmelo Drago (bass), and Adam Dawson (drums and percussion).
