Claude Hay - ‘Give Me Something’ single and tour dates

Claude Hay drops ‘Give Me Something’ single and tour dates

Blue Mountains blues-rocker and award-winning independent artist Claude Hay stakes his claim on the Australian music landscape with the release of his new single ‘Give Me Something’.
A fast-paced and upbeat foot-stomper with all the dirty, funky blues he effortlessly instils in all his work, Claude says ‘Give Me Something’ is about “the pressures of life in general and working to crazy deadlines.”

The track shoots out of the gate at full pelt with a jumping and jiving riff that doesn’t let up until it crosses the finish line, ridden by Claude’s burning roots guitar chops and smoking vocal ability.
To support the release of ‘Give Me Something’, Claude will be in one-man band mode pulling out the edgier hard rock tracks from his back catalogue, playing tunes not heard before live. He'll be traversing the highways of The Great Southern Land to deliver heart-pounding live sets of new and classic material. Shows include Mojo Burning Festival at Hamilton Hotel in Brisbane on 6 April and Peak Festival in Perisher June long weekend.

Never one to rest on his laurels, Claude continues to be a trailblazing musical force at home and around the world. After four albums – the latest being 2016’s ‘Roller Coaster’ – his music still pushes the stylistic boundaries of blues-rock.
Similarly, his work as a luthier crafting tailor-made instruments for each of his albums deliberately eschews traditional guitar design, often using found materials and featuring multiple necks, outputs and pickups to achieve truly unique hybrid masterpieces of DIY invention.
