The Rolling Stones have been teasing a potential new album for more than a year, but it now appears music could drop sooner than anyone imagined. The group teased 10 seconds of a bluesy track on Twitter on Tuesday (Oct. 4), posting the unnamed snippet along with the message, "coming October 6." No official announcement has been made about the title of the album, which would be their first studio effort since 2005's A Bigger Bang, the longest lay-off of their career. A spokesperson for the group could not be reached for comment at press time.
