My father was a veteran with the 82nd airborne so it's an honor to work with New Folk Records on the release of this charity compilation CD called “That’s Why We Stand” benefiting Guitars4Vets. 100% of proceeds go to military veterans suffering with Post- traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and that is something I can get behind.

New Folk Records Is pleased to announce the release of a charity compilation CD called “That’s Why We Stand” benefiting Guitars4Vets (guitars4vets.org) 100% of all proceeds, New Folk receives will go directly to Guitars4Vets.
The album features 15 songs about service, sacrifice and country by some amazing artists; all of which donated their creativity to the project at no charge whatsoever. Among those featured are: The Charlie Daniels Band, John Schneider,  Mike Huckabee, Rockie Lynne, Joshua Raye Hudson Scotty Hasting  and the great Doyle Dykes. Also featured are some newer artists that also deserve to be heard.

100% of proceeds received by New Folk Records from sales of That’s Why We Stand will go directly to Guitars4Vets (www.guitars4vets.org) in support of the tremendous work they are doing to help those military veterans suffering with Post- traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). To date, they have given out over 5000 guitars and given over 50,000 lessons. “The Guitars4Vets program helps to put instruments in the hands of our heroes.” Mike Huckabee, former Gov. of Arkansas.

The street date for the album in November 3rd, 2023 and it will be distributed through-out North America by MVD Entertainment. The first single. That’s Why We Stand goes to radio Oct 10st. And on Nov 10th the legendary Doyle Dykes will be featured on the Mike Huckabee show where nearly 800,000 viewers will hear him play his track “God Bless America” which he recorded especially for this album.
