Brent Cobb has a new single today and announced a new album, showcasing his music in a new light. Cobb announced his forthcoming record Ain’t Rocked in a While, which is the first project Cobb has made with this touring band, The Fixin’s.

Slated for a July 11th release via Ol’ Buddy Records/Thirty Tigers, Cobb wanted to create a project that encapsulated the feeling of his live shows, noting that he began to feel like there was a disconnect between the singer/songwriter he is compared to the rocking southern soul that takes over his life shows.
