The European Blues Union organize every year a Blues Challenge. Reflecting the requests from several countries for the rotation of these important events and to discover other environments and new opportunities, each year we visit a different place, and in 2025 we will be in Split, Croatia!
3 – 5 April 2025.
The EBC format will be a 3–day event (Thu-Sat). There will be two semi-finals, Thursday & Friday, respectively, followed by a grand finale on Saturday with the top 4 ranked acts from each semi-final. That is, 8 acts performing to raise the EBC trophy on the Saturday evening.
Split is the second-largest city of Croatia, after the capital Zagreb, the largest city in Dalmatia and the largest city on the Croatian coast. It lies on the eastern shore of the Adriatic Sea and is spread over a central peninsula and its surroundings.

The Blues Market is a free, unique opportunity for all EBU Members to present their activities in an informal setting, to meet, interact and communicate with other blues professionals, media and enthusiasts as well as to meet with the bands. The EBU will reserve a table at your disposal, where you can have your presentations, publications and advertising materials on display. The best promotion ever!
