It's been a busy few weeks with promoting the new album 'Back to the Spirit of 66' with radio and press, as well as getting all of the pre-orders ready to be shipped. Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to order a copy of the album! Friends, family and fans alike came together and sent support and bought their copies in advance once the pre-sale began and this means so much to me each time I finish a project like this. Every album has alot of hardwork that goes into it, but also a deep feeling of expression which is why it means so much when the time comes to share it, and why it means even more when there is a team of people supporting you when you release it. Get your copy here www.layla.ca 📃Here are a few reviews that have come in so far: Rootstime Belgium | Blue Bayou Texas And the album is already receiving airplay around the world, and I am thrilled to announce an interview I had with BLUES MOOSE RADIO in the Netherlands featuring 4 tracks from the new album will air tomorrow, Saturday, September 16th. And a track will be featured on the famous DEUTSCHLANDFUNK RADIO in Germany on the 'Bluestime - Neues aus Americana, Blues und Roots' program on SEPTEMBER 22nd from 10:05-10:49 PM. In other news I have some concerts coming up in the UK and Germany in October and we are already beginning to announce concerts for the "Into the Blue Tour" which will take place in Europe in the Spring and Fall of 2024. And I was thrilled to see the response for my song "Turn this into Gold" which was featured on "Don's Blues" a YouTube channel with nearly 2 million subscribers. Already the video has had 10,000 views in only 4 days.

And last but not least, I have gone back to social media for the time being. I am not sure how long it lasts, but it has helped me to promote the new album more and upcoming tour dates and also to reconnect with some old friends and fans who only use social media for communication.
