Soul’ is the first single off the long-anticipated debut album ‘Tricks On My
Mind’ set to drop on the 20th August 2021.

Rock music scene. A hybrid of heavy shuffle drum beats and catchy guitar riffs

captures everything great about the band – catchy melodies from Leo, dirty,
driving groves from Joe and Matt, soulful keys from Dom, and I get to lay some
killer riffs and solos! The Radio edit was hard to do as producer Simon Efemey
(Wildhearts, Diamond Head, Orson) and I had to cut the track in half. Buy the
album and you’ll hear the track in its full glory! Having Stephen Bentley-Klein
(co - writer of the Paolo Nutini album’s Iron Sky / Sunny Side Up) playing the
strings really puts the finishing touches to a great sounding track!”

“This was the first song that I ever wrote on the piano,
and the hardest to get right. We tried it so many different ways, but it was
definitely worth the time and effort. Lyrically it is the most poignant song on the
album, it’s not about love or relationships, it’s about how shallow, plastic and
fake the world can be sometimes.”
